Description
The moringa tree is truly a magical tree. For many regions and countries in southern Africa, and increasingly also in western parts of the continents this tree brings a lot of benefits to its people. It is pretty drought resistant and grows fast and yield are varied. It tolerates a wide range of soil conditions and can do with only rain water, not necessarily needing expensive irrigation techniques. Its nutrious leaves form a supplement to the staple food, it yields many medicinal uses and the seeds remove 90-99% of the bacteria contained in water, so less cooking is needed.
