Zoals Philip altijd zegt: “de woestijn haalt het beste in een leeuw naar boven”. Deze dieren zijn tot zoveel meer in staat, dan wat je een leeuw in de savanne ooit zal zien doen. Hier verlangt hun barre leefomgeving dat ze tot het uiterste gaan!

Indien we alle toezeggingen kunnen verzilveren en optellen bij wat er ter plekke gedoneerd werd of later werd overgemaakt op de rekening van de Thika Foundation, dan loopt de ‘teller’ ruim door de Euro 12.000. Een bedrag om gezamenlijk beretrots op te zijn en waarvoor veel dank aan alle gulle gevers!
